SCAFFOLD HOISTS

 scaffoldhoist.jpg

Simple to install wire rope hoists for short or high lifts.  Various models with 1 1 0 volt electric supply offer safe working loads from 70 Kgs to 300 Kgs with lifting heights up to 50 metres.  Some scaffold hoists can be statically suspended and others are inclusive of jib frame and pivoted scaffold clamps.

FRAME MOUNTED HOISTS

These hoists are ideal for free standing on site lifts. ,The frames have ballast boxes or alternatively are clamped direct to the scaffold.  The frame and hoist can easily be dismantled for transfer and assembly on a different site.  Both units can be used separately, if required.  Increased travel can be obtained by using two track frames back to back.  Lifting capacity 300 Kgs with heights of lift up to 45 metres.  Power supply can be either 110 volts or 240 volts.

ROPE BLOCKS

London pattern blocks for fibre rope can have single, double or treble sheave pulleys. They provide safe working loads up to 5 tonnes dependant on the number of rope fails and configuration, one person may be able to exert a pull of around 33 Kgs and provide the power to  lift much heavier loads. For very heavy lifts a power source such as a winch may be required.

GIN WHEELS

Gin wheels are available with an eye or hook attachment.  They are used extensively in the building industry for fairly light loads and may also be called jenny wheels.
