SERVICES

Our engineers are qualified to carry out a range of in house and on site service work as briefly described below.  We are members of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association and our staff have been trained accordingly.  All documentation required by law is provided.

MAINTENANCE

A schedule of preventative maintenance gives equipment longer life and improved reliability.  We will ensure that your lifting equipment is regularly serviced to try to identify and eliminate any problems before they occur.  The servicing can be carried out at regular intervals of time or to suit the work load of the equipment.

LOAD TESTING

We have the staff and necessary equipment to load test in our works or on your sites.  All load tests are carried out to satisfy current legislation.  This may be before overhead lifting equipment is put into use and after repairs, alterations or relocation.  We can provide the test weights or alternatively they can be supplied by the customer.

INSPECTIONS

We can advise you which items of lifting equipment should be inspected regularly either for general safety or because such inspections are required by law.  A qualified engineer will carry out each inspection to check if any immediate work is required and to determine if any wearing parts will need attention in the near future.  A report will be provided as soon as possible after the inspection and any further work can be planned to your own programme.

REPAIRS

We are available at short notice to carry out repairs in our own workshop or on-site.  If, due to circumstances beyond our control, the repair cannot be completed promptly, we will keep you fully informed.  On occasions, it may be possible to offer substitute equipment if there is going to be a delay in completing the repair.

INSTALLATION/ERECTION/COMMISSIONING

As part of the contract when we supply equipment, we are able to carry out erection, installation, commissioning or load testing.  We are also able to provide on-site staff to work to customers instructions or to assist other contractors.
